A nice pat on the back for winning the Streaming Media – European Readers’ Choice Awards 2009 for best music and audio delivery platform. The website showmehowtoplay.com was built by the team at i2i and featured a custom QuickTime player for download and multi-track videos that could be purchased. Well done to all the team especially Michael and Leo.
My latest project was to build a USB cross platform application. This was a USB giveaway for UK Indies stand at MIPCOM 2009. Thanks to the actionscript coding skills of Martin Carder we where able to deliver an application showcasing all the best video content from the UK Indies website on time and on budget.

Use of liquid widths, not fixed widths, for the entire layout
The layout of the site is important so that the site will perform on different platforms, such as TV, Mobile and Handheld devices.
The Internet Broadcaster is a scheduling tool with a user friendly interface that allows the user to organize their media clips into a live scheduled stream, as a video on demand solution or as a live TV stream which runs on a 24 x 7 schedule, just like television.
Your content is managed by the broadcast scheduler in order to make the deployment of your online internet tv channel as simple as possible . The Internet Broadcaster allows you to control all aspects of your media, from the media metadata, protecting the programmes by location and including advertising and programme information.
I’m very pleased with my latest project using the Interent Broadcaster. Now with support for Silverlight. It’s just a shame PowerPc Macs can’t support windows media serverside playlists using Sliverlight otherwise it would a great all round solution.

Introducing the Cable TV Scheduling Solution
The Cable TV scheduling solution consists of a web based TV Scheduler and a customized Windows Media Player “Nnteli Player” that constantly pulls the TV schedule from the Interent Broadcaster scheduler to facilitate the playout of MPEG 2 content.
