Gathering provisions for the journey...
The Lord's portion is gathered each dawn; temptation stirs each night. So stands your reckoning:
Weather: Each dawn brings a forecast. Heatwaves increase thirst, wind increases exposed walking effort, and light rain slows water loss. Water sources refill your water; shelter protects you from extra exposure. Tomorrow follows a four-day cycle: clear, heat, wind, rain.
Gather your household quota first: this food is reserved at dusk. Trade only surplus. Midday heat drains water faster: shelter near Camp or the Temple, and refill at the Oasis or Split Rock. Return to Camp to finish early.
Each dawn the manna falls upon the desert. Gather it, but heed this: surplus manna spoils — food for your household is reserved first.
Walk: Use arrow keys, WASD, or the on-screen controls. The journey itself wearies you — walking slowly drains your wellbeing, so move with purpose.
Gather: Touch the glowing manna to add it to your basket.
Trade: Finish at Camp or wait until dusk. Household food is set aside first; then sell your surplus or buy food to cover a shortage.
Wellbeing & Wealth: These are two separate fates. Gather too little and you go hungry — wellbeing falls. Gather too much and cannot sell it all — the waste also costs you wellbeing. Sell well and your wealth grows, but wealth alone cannot save a starving soul. Gather what your household needs, then weigh the risk of collecting extra for trade.
Places: Explore to find the Camp, the Oasis, Split Rock, the Temple, and the Wilderness beyond.
Your Tribe sets how you travel and how much manna falls; your Household size then makes the journey easier or harder.
Torches are lit as darkness falls over the camp.
